A two-man film crew has been following some Coral Gables (FL) firefighters around on the job, documenting their runs for German television.
As reported by the News-Press (http://newspr.es/1eDZT2C), the TV crew has been following Juergen Schmidt, 51, a Cape Coral firefighter from Germany, as he goes about his job as a first responder. Schmidt speaks fluent German and explains on camera what’s happening on the calls, which include incidents in which firefighters aid a fallen elderly woman and save the life of a child who’d stopped breathing.
The show, called “Achtung Kontrolle!”, is one of the most popular reality or documentary series shows on Kabel 1.
