Charleroi (PA) – The ex-Allenport (PA)  Fire Department treasurer pleaded guilty Tuesday to two of the nearly 160 counts she was facing involving the misappropriation of fire department funds.

Traci Fedrick, 38, of Allenport, pleaded guilty to one count each of theft and conspiracy to commit theft. A restitution hearing is scheduled February 8.

Although prosecutors contend Fedrick and her husband, Victor, took $13,476.46 from the organization over a nine-month period, the couple has claimed much of the money was used for legitimate department expenses.

In notes to prosecutors, Traci Fedrick provided what she claimed was legitimate uses for all but $2,649.11 of the money.
