Four-Alarm Fire at Houston Apartment

Houston fire officials battled a four-alarm fire in the 6400 block of Westheimer between South Voss and Briargrove at the Palms on Westheimer apartment complex, reports chron.com

Officials received the call at around 3:15 p.m. with a report of a fire at the Palms. The fire was upgraded from three alarms to four alarms at 4 p.m. The fire was tapped out at 6:23 p.m.

About 36 units were affected by the fire. Officials with American Red Cross were dispatched to the scene to help displaced residents.
