Four Children Killed in Missouri Condo Fire

Firefighters from the Osage Beach (MO) Fire Department responded to a condo fire that killed four children overnight.

Crews found a fourth-floor unit at Compass Point condos engulfed in flames, according to a report on KY3. The fire is considered suspicious.

Osage Beach Fire Chief Jeffrey Dorhauer told NBC News that firefighters were able to use a ladder to rescue two adults from a third-floor window. Firefighters knocked the fire down quickly but were unable to save the children.

More than 60 firefighters responded to the fire, which took more than five hours to extinguish, the report said.
