Four Dead, Two Injured in MI Home Explosion

A home explosion in Northfield, Michigan, killed four people and left two others injured, according to reports.

The explosion occurred Saturday, with three dead on scene, according to NBC News. Two survivors were transported to area medical facilities, with one later expiring.

There were a total of six people in the house in the 8000 block of Winters Lane, according to clickondetroit.com. The explosion left only the basement of the building remaining.

The incident is under investigation, but official say it may have been due to a gas leak.
