Firefighters Among More Than a Dozen Injured in PA Explosion

A major explosion Sunday injured more than a dozen people, including several firefighters, in Saegertown, Pennsylvania.

The explosion occurred shortly after crews arrived on scene at the Parker Lord Corp. site at around 10:30 a.m., according to yourerie.com. A least six firefighters and 11 plant workers sustained injuries that were deemed minor, the report said.

A shelter-in-place order was issued for residents in the area, but was lifted around 1 p.m.
