Four Hurt, Including Firefighter, in Bronx (NY) Basement Fire



According to a report from ABC7, four were injured, including one Fire Department of New York (FDNY) firefighter, after a fire erupted in the basement of an apartment in the Longwood section of the Bronx Sunday evening.

The FDNY said the flames started in the building on 1096 West Farms Road a little before 8 p.m. Sunday night.

The four injured people are expected to recover, and the FDNY is now investigating the cause of the incident.
