An early morning fire at Heafey Heafey Hoffmann Dworak-Cutler Funeral Home has sent four people to the hospital, reports kmtv.com.
Omaha Fire Chief Bernie Kanger confirms to KMTV reporter Shawnte Passmore that three firefighters and a funeral home employee are being treated at a local hospital.
The facility’s smoke detectors were working, officials said. They estimate the monetary loss for the building at $1.5 million and its contents at $777,450.
