Funeral Arrangements Made for MO Lieutenant Killed in Structure Fire

It is with great sadness that the Marshfield (MO) Fire Protection District (MFPD) and Marshfield (MO) Fire Department announces the death of Lieutenant Matthew Blankenship. Lieutenant Blankenship passed away at Mercy Hospital Burn Center in Springfield, Missouri, at 4:35 a.m. on July 20, 2013. Lieutenant Blankenship was critically injured during firefighting operations at a structure fire on July 13,2013.  Lt. Blankenship served the Marshfield Community for more than four years. Arrangements will be as follows:

Visitation – No Formal Visitation Will Be Held

Funeral – Coordinated by Fraker Funeral Home at the Marshfield High School Gymnasium in Marshfield, Missouri, on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
