GA Firefighters Burned Responding to House Fire

Two Glynn County (GA) firefighters sustained burns Saturday evening while responding to a house fire, according to news reports.

ActionNewsJax.com reported that companies responded to a house fire in the vicinity of the 1900 block of Fifth Street in Brunswick. During search operations, a flashover occurred, trapping firefighters. A Mayday was declared on the fireground, but both members managed to exit the home.

They were transported with burn injuries. Few other details were available as of this writing.
