GA Warehouse Destroyed by Massive Fire, Explosions

According to a report from 11Alive, the South Fulton (GA) Fire Department (SFFD) responded to a massive fire that left a warehouse a total loss early Tuesday morning.

SFFD Lieutenant Eric Jackson says the call came in just after 2:30 a.m. for the Fulton Industrial Boulevard warehouse that was home to Atlanta Custom Iron Works. SFFD crews arrived to the building in less than five minutes to find it fully engulfed.

The business owner told fire officials that propane was being stored inside the building, which fire crews said was the likely cause of the fire’s rapid growth.

Eventually, Atlanta Fire Rescue was called in for mutual aid to help the SFFD in the firefight.

No injuries have been reported in the incident.
