Group Calling for New Investigation into Dallas Firefighter’s Death

The Dallas Fire Fighters’ Association is calling for a new investigation, because they believe at least one, or maybe several, Dallas firefighters may not be telling the truth about what happened on the morning Stan Wilson died, reports CBS Dallas.

REPORT: DALLAS FIREFIGHTER DEATH DUE TO COMMANDERS DECISIONS AND COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS

The veteran firefighter died when he and three others entered an apartment complex that collapsed in May 2013.

Dallas Fire Fighters’ Association President Doug Dickerson said members believe someone may have lied about who gave the order to send the crew into the building. He spoke to the I-Team following a two-hour special meeting where more than 100 firefighters gathered to discuss the report recently released about Wilson’s death.

“We just want the opportunity to wash all of this out and see who is potentially lying, flat out, or who is not remembering it clearly,” said Dickerson.
