Firefighters Confront Raging Flames at Hempstead (NY) Dwelling Fire

The Hempstead (NY) Fire Department responded to a working fire in a private dwelling just before midnight on Friday, December 7.

Units encountered a heavy fire condition in the rear of the two-story home on Robinwood Avenue. Firefighters were nonetheless able to gain entry and knock down the blaze in the first few minutes of fire operations.

Several exterior and interior areas of the home were blocked by excessive clutter.

No injuries were reported at the scene.
