Henderson Firefighters (Local 1883) Fill The Boot

The Henderson Professional Firefighters (HPFF), in conjunction with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), brought out their boots to collect donations at the Galleria at Sunset today. This year’s “Fill the Boot” Drive launched valley-wide on May 1, 2015.

The drive serves to benefit research and local services for the Southern Nevada Chapter of the MDA. The Henderson Professional Fire Fighters will be collecting donations on May 15, 23 and 24 at the following Henderson storefront locations: Galleria at Sunset Smith’s Food and Drug, Albertsons and Trader Joe’s.

Dan Pentkowski, HPFF President, says, “We are proud to be part of a charitable effort, which began in our state and assists so many people in need. It is our hope to exceed our donation goal of last year, and with the help of our local businesses like the Galleria at Sunset, we believe that is very possible.”
