Braun Industries, Inc. is proud to announce the newest dealership to join the Braun family. Hi-Tech Emergency Vehicle Service, Inc. will provide new Braun ambulances sales in California. They will also be a Braun Authorized Service Center.
“We are extremely excited to have Ben Ruthman and his team be a part of our family of dealers,” says Chad Brown, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Braun. “They have years of experience in the emergency vehicle industry and provide customer service that is second to none. Hi-Tech has tremendous facilities and their sales team in unrivaled. Our growth strategies have been pointing for us to head out to the west coast and with the addition of Hi-Tech, we have further solidified our presence in the West. We welcome Ben and his team to the Braun family and look forward to our future together.”
Established in 1987, Hi-Tech Emergency Vehicle Service, Inc. brings a unique perspective to selling Braun ambulances. This is because they build their own line of emergency vehicles as well. Hi-Tech manufactures fire trucks and other types of custom-designed fire suppression and emergency response vehicles in their Oakdale, California location. Known for providing the highest quality of apparatus sales and service in the state, Hi-Tech pursued the opportunity of becoming a Braun ambulance dealer to complement their existing offerings.
“We are still a fire apparatus OEM, but since Fire and EMS are so closely connected and work together… we saw it as a perfect fit for our sales team to sell the Braun ambulance line. We are known for providing the highest quality of apparatus sales and service in California, and we can utilize our skilled work force to serve the ambulance companies throughout the state as well. Many fire departments also run EMS, so it is just a natural fit,” says Brian Ruthman, Vice President of Hi-Tech Emergency Vehicle Service, Inc. “We are very excited to be part of the Braun family! We share the same values and ideas in our business philosophy. We look forward to a long and successful relationship for many years to come.”
Hi-Tech was drawn to Braun based on the quality of Braun ambulances and their well-established reputation in the industry. Like Braun, Hi-Tech is also family owned and operated. This was an important factor in solidifying the new business partnership; Hi-Tech recognizes the value Braun places on taking good care of their employees, dealerships, and customers. To date, the dealership has enjoyed the onboarding process, noting that it has been very professional, they are impressed with the company as a whole, and they look forward to working with the key contacts put in place to support them. They are also very thankful to Kim and Scott Braun and the many skilled employees they met in person as they toured the Braun facility.
Hi-Tech is looking forward to offering their California customers the complete line of Braun ambulance models. “We employ many of the same features found in Braun ambulances in building our own fire apparatus,” says Brian Ruthman. “We know from experience that the Braun ambulance line is a solid product that has many advantages over the competition. When a company such as Braun offers up a lifetime transferable warranty, you know you will be receiving a high quality product. We also like the fully welding aluminum cabinetry way better than the industry standard of laminated wood particle board. It’s built to last!”
The dedicated sales team at Hi-Tech Emergency Vehicle Service, Inc. has been working diligently to understand everything there is to know about Braun ambulances. They are looking forward to educating customers about Braun’s SolidBody™ Construction, EZ Glide Door, transferrable warranty, longevity and ability to remount, and much more. The dealership believes the Liberty model will be a great option for many departments in the region. Made up of eight knowledgeable sales representatives, the sales team will be reaching out ambulance companies throughout California to educate them about Braun. Customers can also catch up with the dealership at the following tradeshows and conferences: EMS World, Fire House West, California Fire Mechanics Association, Southern California Fire Mechanics Academy, and Fire House World.
Following the sale of a new Braun ambulance, Hi-Tech Emergency Vehicle Service, Inc. will offer customers unparalleled service and support. As a fire apparatus manufacturer, the dealership currently offers bumper-to-bumper fire truck chassis servicing, aerial repair, annual fire truck pump testing, fire truck component parts sales, Hurst Rescue Tool servicing, fire truck wreck repairs and fire truck refurbishment. The service department will expand offerings to include similar services for Braun ambulances.
