Fire companies responded to a massive fire at a warehouse in Highland Park, Michigan, according to news reports.
The Detroit Free Press noted that explosions were heard coming from the building as the fire burned, which could be from tanks of fuel or other material in the building.
Fox 2 reported that one worker was inside the building, but that person got out unharmed.
According to the Detroit News, the fire was announced as being under control shortly before 8 a.m., but it was still burning. The flames could take about a week to fight, according to Highland Park Fire Chief Kevin Coney, and residents are advised to boil their water until further notice. Firefighters from Highland Park, Detroit, and Hamtramck fire departments have responded to the scene.
