The Cheshire Citizen (http://bit.ly/1lHIufB) reported that the victim was found in the dwelling’s basement on Saturday by police conducting a welfare check. A postal carrier found mail had piled up at the home for about a week and a half and alerted authorities.
Police determined that there was a structural collapse of the first floor based on the weight of the content of the house.
Firefighters and other agencies responded to the scene after police determine the structure was not safe to enter.
