An explosion north of Cheney Lake in Reno County, Kansas, destroyed a two story home, killed one person and injured three others on Sunday afternoon. Reports indicate that rescuers found a person dead beneath the debris in the aftermath of the explosion. Three others were injured, one critical, according to a report from KSN News.
The incident is currently under investigation but reports indicate that a newly installed hot water heater could possibly be related to cause of the explosion.
