An explosion that may have been caused by a natural gas leak destroyed a house in a Chicago suburb and damaged up to 30 other homes Friday night.
No one was seriously injured in the explosion in Long Grove, according to Reuters (http://huff.to/1nCY79V). The blast was loud enough to be heard two towns away.

A woman who lived in the house that was leveled had either stepped outside at the time of the explosion or managed to escape before her home collapsed around her. A few other people suffered minor injuries.
