Humpday Hangout: Lowering Female Firefighter Standards and EV Standards

In this week’s Humpday Hangout, hosts Frank Ricci and P.J. Norwood are joined by Amphenol’s Brian Engle and Waterbury (CT) Battalion Chief Jason Emery.

Frank and P.J. discuss if states extinguish standards for female firefighters in the name of diversity. They cover recent legislation proposed to ban the 50-pound vest requirement for CPAT that could result in states losing their license.

Brian and Jason also discuss the impact electric vehicles have on fire department responses.
