HURST JAWS OF LIFE presented the Manitowoc (WI) Fire Department with the 1998 Rescue of the Year

HURST JAWS OF LIFE presented the Manitowoc (WI) Fire Department with the 1998 Rescue of the Year Award for its rescue of a victim from a crushed car in 1998. Department representatives received a plaque and a Maverick rescue tool and power unit. Hurst awards the Green Cross to rescuers using Hurst Tools in their rescues and enters recipients in the Green Cross registry, from which annual awards are selected. The 1999 Rescue of the Year Award will be a Hurst Jaws of Life Transformer tool, which has interchangeable arms and the ability to spread up to 40 inches.
