IAFF Online Resource Helps Develop Wellness-Fitness Programs

The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) has developed a new online resource with specifics on fire departments across the United States and Canada that have developed wellness-fitness programs based on the IAFF/International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) Joint Labor Management Wellness-Fitness Initiative (WFI). IAFF affiliates can use this resource to learn from these successful programs and develop or enhance wellness-fitness programs in their own fire departments.

Each fire department’s wellness program is searchable by jurisdiction; jurisdictions are broken down by WFI Task Force and non-WFI Task Force departments. Click here to go to the WFI Resource.

This online resource will be updated and expanded to include additional tools to be used to gather information on managing wellness-fitness programs and benefit from the experiences of others.

If your department has a wellness program and would like to share your information in the WFI Resource, email cfulton@iaff.org.
