Pocatello, ID – After initially banning fireworks all through Bannock County, Pocatello residents will be allowed to shoot off fireworks for the 4th of July in some parts of the city from 12 p.m. to midnight.
The same day fireworks shops got the go-ahead to open their doors and start selling, the Charlotte Fire ignited in Pocatello, and the use of fireworks was banned throughout the county.
Since then, fireworks have been anemic at the stands set up across the city.
