Evansville (IN) firefighters arrived about 0400 hours to find a single-story, single-family dwelling fire fully involved.
First-due engine established a water supply and began interior operations. The second-due engine began operations at the rear and the exposures were protected simultaneously.
The fire had already involved the attic space of the structure and the roof was burning away. The fire was contained to the original building.
One firefighter was injured and transported to the hospital, but the extend of his injuries is unknown.
