Indiana University Basketball Team Bus Burns up on Highway

A fire turned a routine trip into a dangerous escape for the Indiana University of Indianapolis men’s basketball team Sunday afternoon.

The team’s bus, carrying players and staff, caught fire along the interstate in Kent, just 90 minutes west of Cincinnati, after a game against Northern Kentucky University (NKU), Fox 19 reports.

The fire was captured on video and was caused by a mechanical issue, according to officials from IU Indianapolis. All passengers on the bus evacuated safely.
