Indianapolis firefighters responded to a near east side factory fire just after midnight. Because of fog and the size of the complex, firefighters had some difficulty locating the fire.

Engine Company 11 and 3 and Engine Company 27 located the fire, but crews then had to deal with access to the structure. Ladder Company 27 cut several gates for the attack crews to make an interior attack. Extra companies were called as the smokiness made it hard to get to the seat of the fire.

There were no reported injuries and the fire is being investigated.
