Last week, Indianapolis firefighters responded to this working residential fire with possible entrapment.

On Wednesday, November 7, 2018, 13 Indianapolis Fire Department units were dispatched to this fire with reports of a possible entrapped victim.

There were three adults living in the home. One woman was asleep at the time and was awakened by a shouting occupant; she jumped from a two-story window and on to side porch roof,  then to ground. She was transported in serious condition to an area medical facility.

A male inside the home was awakened by the smoke detector and helped alert others inside. Another unaccounted-for male adult was ultimately found and is okay.

There were no firefighter injuries.
