Indianapolis (IN) Firefighters Control Fire in Vacant Structure

Indianapolis firefighters responded to fire in an abandoned structure yesterday.

Thick black smoke prompted multiple calls to 911, and crews engaged in an aggressive attack on heavy fire in the building’s attic. The fire threatened an exposure building.

The fire was placed under control after 35 minutes. There were no reported injuries.
