Fresno (CA) Fire Captain Pete Dern, who was badly injured in a fire incident in March, is vowing to leave the hospital soon, according to a news report.

It’s a 24 hour vigil commitment but the doctors say they believe he can probably get out of there in October. Pete says he’ll get out of there in July.”
