ISFSI Launches Online Learning Management System

ISFSI Releases Video on Live Fire Instructor Program

There’s never been a better time to be a member of the International Society of Fire Service Instructors (ISFSI). The grant data on Single-Family Detached Dwelling Fire Attack that they have been awaiting since their live-fire research burns in South Carolina is here! It is an honor for the ISFSI to have had the privilege to be involved in this industry research. Their focus for this material is to provide you, the fire instructor, with the latest data and modern research. The ISFSI is confident that the resource material provided, accompanied with strong educators, will make a safer more knowledgeable fire service so that everyone goes home.

While countless hours have been poured into the research and delivery of this program, the ISFSI anticipate that over the next few months, as additional NIST research is published, this data will be update. Once you are registered as a participant in the ISFSI LMS system, you can be notified when updates are posted. In addition, the ISFSI anticipates the release of a curriculum late fall of 2013 exclusively for ISFSI members. In the meantime, the ISFSI welcomes your feedback and comments regarding the deliverable.

Visit learn.isfsi.org to take you to the newly launched ISFSI Online Learning Management System. Directions to register with the site are provided on the front page. After registering, you can participate in the ISFSI Single Family Detached Dwelling Fire Tactics Program by entering the following enrollment key: SFDDFT.

Other courses that are currently available are the ISFSI Modern Construction Considerations for Company Operations. Over the next few weeks, the ISFSI will be uploading more information and courses.

As the ISFSI begins this new chapter, they ask that you provide them with your feedback and comments so they can continue to improve the programs. Please send your inquires to membership@isfsi.org
