The Telecommunicator’s Role in Homeland Security course available online

The Association of Public-Safety Communications (APCO) Officials Institute is pleased to announce The Telecommunicator’s Role in Homeland Security course will be available as an online course. This course will be introduced on April 9 through APCO Institute Online.

Previously taught only in the classroom as a one-day course, The Telecommunicator’s Role in Homeland Security course can now be completed in three weeks via the APCO Institute Online.

The Telecommunicator’s Role in Homeland Security course will help the telecommunicator recognize terrorism incidents and determine the appropriate response. This instructor-facilitated course provides students across the nation with the opportunity to come together in a virtual classroom to prepare for this type of incident.
