Several Jersey CIty (NJ) firefighters were hospitalized Friday after a fire at a nursing home.
The Jersey Journal (http://bit.ly/1dUxe8x) reported that seven members were taken to the hospital as a precaution after they were exposed to potentially hazardous materials while controlling a single-alarm fire.

The firefighters were exposed to a coolant from a damaged air conditioning unit in an office of the nursing home. They were examined and returned to duty.
The fire is believed to have begun in the window air-conditioning unit, which emitted the hazardous material. The incident displaced 25 residents to another part of the facility, none of whom were injured.
