Jersey City (NJ) Firefighter Dies Following Response

A veteran Jersey City (NJ) firefighter died suddenly after working a shift on Christmas Day.

According to the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) report, Firefighter James Woods, 44, passed away from a nature and cause of fatal injury still to be determined within 24 hours of responding to an emergency response call.

According to a report from NJ.com (http://bit.ly/13P6FmG), Woods leaves behind a wife and three children.

To date, 87 firefighter fatalities have been reported to USFA in 2014.
