On November 21, 2018, 80 City of Los Angeles (CA) firefighters battled a spectacular fire that tore through the top floor and attic of a six-unit, two-story apartment house in the Pico-Union district of Los Angeles.
The fire on the 1400 block of South Toberman Street was brought under control in an hours time. At least a dozen people were displaced due to the fire.
There were no reported injuries. Damage was extensive. The cause of the early morning greater alarm blaze is under investigation.
