Occupants managed to escape a house fire that destroyed a home earlier this week in the city of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Fire photographer Tim Olk sent some photos of fire operations at the scene.

According to FOX 6, the home, which was divided into four units, was fully engulfed when police and firefighters arrived at the scene.

Four people who were downstairs were able to get out of the home safely, while three people who were upstairs  crawled out onto the roof of the home. A woman was able to throw her baby from the roof to an officer waiting on the ground, and the infant was unharmed. The woman then jumped to escape the fire, sustaining minor injuries.

A neighbor used a ladder to help another victim off the roof. As officers were helping them down, the ladder broke, and one person fell onto the officers on the ground. One officer was injured.

The two-alarm fire required the assistance of 13 area fire departments and ambulance companies.
