Firefighters responded earlier this week to a four-alarm structure fire in Lake George, New York, and Andrew Deierlein of Priority 1 Photography shared some photos from the scene.

At approximately 13:10 on April 22, 2019, Lake George (NY) fire department was dispatched for a possible structure fire on Kocni Terrace off of Goggins Rd in the town of Lake George. A sheriff’s deputy from the Warren County Sheriff’s department arrived first on scene and reported a working structure fire.

Shortly after, Lake George fire command arrived and reported a fully involved structure fire and requested a second-alarm tanker assignment as the call was outside of the hydrant district. Multiple tankers from mutual aid companies responded to the scene and a fill site was established in the Lake George Village.

Lake George command struck the third and fourth alarms, bringing tankers from as far as Thurman. In total, 13 tankers shuttled water from two fill sites to the scene for more than three hours. Shortly after the fourth alarm was struck, two 250+ gallon propane tanks on the rear of the house exploded.

Firefighters also had to deal with fire in a detached two-car garage that was approximately 10 feet from the residence as well as a small shed behind that. The Warren County Cause and Origin Team responded from Glens Falls but their findings had not been released as of Monday night.
