Legislative conference planned on fire service topics

The Congressional Fire Services Caucus plans to coordinate a legislative conference when the 101st Congress starts its session in January.

Details of the conference were being worked on at press time, but John McNichol, the caucus’ staff director, says it will set an agenda from national fire service organizations that legislators can work on.

The caucus is the third largest on Capitol Hill with 265 members.
