Three Lexington (KY) firefighters were reportedly injured in a dynamic fire event this afternoon on the fireground.
None of the firefighters were hospitalized in the two-alarm fire, according to a report from kentucky.com (http://bit.ly/1ysdZAr).
Firefighters arrived on the scene about 1:30 p.m. and entered the frame dwelling, but they were forced out due to a sudden ignition and explosion inside the structure. Alertpage reported the explosion having taken place in the basement of a two-story single family dwelling.
As of about 3:30 p.m. firefighters had knocked down the flames and were trying to determine the fire’s cause.
