Springfield (MA) – Springfield (MA) Fire Department Commissioner Joseph Conant is recovering following an attack Tuesday night.
The commissioner was attacked at his home by a disgruntled employee who took off before police arrived at the commissioner’s home.
Police said the suspect complained that Conant had unfairly bypassed him for a promotion.
