Command requested Rock City Falls for their tanker to the scene. 38-4 and 38-1 arrived on scene quickly and pulled multiple handlines and made entry in to the structure and mounted an aggressive interior attack. Multiple firefighters worked the fire for the interior while crews hit hotspots on the outside of the house.
Command established a tanker rotation to supply adequate water on the scene to be able to bring the fire under control quickly. Firefighters were able to knock down the heavy fire in the attic and in the roof within 25 minutes. No firefighters or residents were injured on scene. No one was home at the time of the fire and Saratoga County fire investigators are currently determining the cause of the fire.
