Man Critically Injured in Ohio Home Explosion

A man was critically injured in an explosion Sunday evening at a home in Lyndhurst, Ohio.

Firefighters from multiple departments responded to the scene, according to Action 19 News.

The patient was hospitalized. According to the report, the man’s wife was also in the house, but was on the second floor and able to escape safely.

Crews tell us that the man was working on appliances in the basement when a gas buildup began.
