A man died in a house fire in Pagedale early Monday morning.
The fire broke out at a residence on 70th and St. Charles Rock Road, bringing firefighters to the scene. Eight people were inside the home at the time of the fire. All but one were able to escape. Firefighters discovered the body of a 45-year-old man on the second floor of the home, KSDK reports.
The three other people injured in the fire are expected to make complete recoveries.
Firefighters suspect the fire was caused by a kitchen stove that the occupants of the home may have been using to heat the house.
