A fast-moving Harlem apartment fire killed a resident man early Thursday, officials said.

The blaze erupted inside the 21-story high rise on Broadway near Martin Luther King Blvd. about 5 a.m., FDNY officials said.

Firefighters put out the fire in the 12th-floor apartment within 45 minutes.

One tenant died at the scene. His name was not immediately released.

A second resident was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside with serious injuries. Two other tenants refused medical attention.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
