Crews Contain Manhasset Hills (NY) House Fire

A raging house fire gutted a home last Tuesday in Manhasset Hills on Long Island, New York.

The call came in around 3:00 p.m. on February 19 for a fire in a two-story, split-level home with attached garage on Sutton Hill Lane near Country Village Lane.

The front of the house was completely engulfed in flame when firefighters arrived on the scene.

The incident was in the Garden City Park Fire District and mutual aid assistance was requested from several surrounding departments to bring the blaze under control.

There were no serious injuries reported at the scene.

Nassau County Fire Marshals were called to the scene to investigate the cause.
