Mayday During Fire at Chicago Bowling Alley

Heavy fire at the scene of a Chicago fire that occurred at a bowling alley.

A firefighter was okay after a Mayday call issued early this morning during a fire at a Chicago (IL) bowling alley. Fire photographer Steve Redick provided the above photo and video from the scene.

According to the Chicago Tribune, firefighters arrived at Lincoln Square Lanes in the 4800 block of North Lincoln Avenue just before 1 a.m. and encountered fire through the roof. Some of the roof had collapsed into the building by about 20 minutes into the fire.

One member went missing temporarily on the fireground, according to the report.
