Mayday: Farmers Branch (TX) Firefighter Injured in Fall

A Farmers Branch (TX) firefighter was injured on the fireground during suppression operations earlier this week.

According to a post on the department’s social media account, Farmers Branch Fire Department units were responding to a fire at a home on September 27, 2022.

Driver Jonathon Dallalio, who was filling in as the Captain on Engine 131, suffered injuries in a fall from the second floor to the first floor inside a home while searching for fire origination. A Mayday was declared, and he was rescued and transported to an area medical facility. It was determined that he suffered several broken verebrae.
