Hear Mayday Call in St. Paul (MN) Firefighter’s Near Miss

Hear audio of a Mayday transmitted by a St. Paul (MN) firefighter during a near miiss at a fire call last month.

Firefighters responding to a house fire on St. Albans Street in January had to leap into action to save one of their own when Firefighter Jeff Black fell through a hole on the first floor. He managed to hold on to avoid falling into the burning basement, and was rescued by another firefighter, Ian Nash. Black was recently released from the hospital, and spoke to reporters in the video below.
