MC PRODUCTS, a division of EMERGENCY SERVICES HOLDING, INC. is testing a fully integrated flow management control system at the Killington (VT) Fire Department, which has installed it on a 212-inch line. The system constantly monitors the hoseline pressure and flow, and an LCD shows either current pressure or current flow rate and the degree of the valve opening. A preset button allows the selection of a predetermined pressure or flow, helping the pump operator maintain correct operating pressures. Pressure or flow may also be adjusted manually.

MC Products is selecting additional test sites for the flow management system. For more information, contact William H. Barnes at (800) 843-6465.
