Raymond (ME) (AP) — A 52-year-old Maine man is dead after more than 60 percent of his body was burned when he fell into his backyard fire pit.
State officials said Timothy Small of Raymond died Sunday evening at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Investigators said Small was drinking with friends Friday night around his rock-lined fire pit. They say he was alone early Saturday when he fell into the fire.
