Memorial Honors Fallen Claremore (OK) Firefighter

Memorial details were announced for Claremore (OK) Fire Department Captain Jason Eric Farley, who died in the line of duty during the early morning hours of May 24, 2015.

Above is video of a vigil held for Farley’s family that was conducted by firefighters, community members, and first responders from the area; the family was out of country when Farley died.

A memorial service honoring Brother Farley will begin by doors opening at 10:00am Saturday May 30, 2015 at the Claremore Expo Center 400 Veterans Parkway Claremore, OK 74017.

Firefighters are requested to wear Class A Dress uniforms and muster at the Nemar Center 1000 W Will Rogers Blvd Claremore, OK 74017 beginning at noon.  A procession to the Expo Center will begin at 1:00pm.  Please Do Not bring fire apparatus for the procession. We are specifically requesting firefighters and not fire apparatus.

Friends may visit the Rice Funeral Home 631 E Will Rogers Blvd Claremore, OK 74014 Wednesday May 27, 2015 from 1:00pm till 9:00pm and Thursday May 28, 2015 from 8:00am till 5:00pm.
